Project Overview

This recently constructed luxury village estate spans approximately 6,500 square feet in the heart of Sag Harbor. Originally built in 2016, the home featured aging network equipment, limited Wi-Fi coverage, fragmented security systems, and outdated entertainment technology that no longer met the expectations of a modern smart home.

HarborHaus was engaged to modernize the home's technology infrastructure, improve reliability, enhance security, and simplify day-to-day operation for the homeowners and their guests.

What We Did

* Removed the existing network and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
* Designed and deployed a new UniFi-based network centered around a UniFi Dream Machine Pro gateway and Switch Pro 24 PoE.
* Installed multiple UniFi U7 Pro and U7 Pro Wall access points to provide seamless high-speed Wi-Fi coverage throughout the home and outdoor living areas.
* Added UniFi Switch Flex and Switch Ultra switches to extend network connectivity to remote areas of the property.
* Installed a new structured wiring system including a 48-port patch panel, rack shelves, SFP+ uplinks, and battery backup power.
* Installed a rack-mounted CyberPower UPS to protect critical network and security equipment from power interruptions.
* Replaced legacy cameras with UniFi G6 Instant and G4 Instant cameras integrated into UniFi Protect for centralized management and remote access.
* Installed a new 75-inch Samsung The Frame television as a focal point of the main living area.
* Added a 98-inch Samsung QLED television to create a premium large-screen entertainment experience.
* Installed HDMI switching infrastructure to simplify source selection and system operation.
* Reconnected and optimized all network-dependent devices including televisions, streaming services, smart-home equipment, and entertainment systems.
